The Bread Machine Digest’s Banana Nut Bread

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2/3 Cup Sugar 1/4 Cup Butter 1 whole Egg 3/4 Cup Mashed Bananas 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1/4 Cup Buttermilk 1 1/4 Cups All-Purpose Flour 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon 1/2 Cup Walnuts -- chopped Place all of the recipes ingredients in your bread machines fully assemebled pan and in the order recommended by your machine's manual. Select the Cake, Batter or Quick Bread Cycle and press start. When the machine is finished wait 10 minutes before removing the bread from the pan. Allow the bread to cool for at least 30 minutes after removing it from the pan before slicing. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Per Serving (excluding unknown items): 133 Calories; 6g Fat (36.6% calories from fat); 3g Protein; 19g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; 20mg Cholesterol; 77mg Sodium. Exchanges: 1/2 Grain(Starch); 0 Lean Meat; 0 Fruit; 0 Non-Fat Milk; 1 Fat; 1/2 Other Carbohydrates. NOTES : This recipe requires your bread machine to have a cake, batter or quick bread cycle. Also, note that by quick bread I am not talking about the rapid yeast bread cycle that does a loaf of yeast bread in half the normal time.
