Please do not attempt this recipe using regular pectin. Regular pectin requires too much sugar and the bread machine can't handle that.
How much is a box of pectin in Your area?
Svetlin Vasilev October 9th, 2008 at 1:22 pmI’ve found in the store 40g box.I am a beginner in the jelly&jam and have no idea if it is enough, too much or too little?
I would appreciate Your help.
How can the number of calories per serving possibly be 778 when you’re using no sugar added everything? Store bought runs about 10 calories.
Pat W. January 29th, 2009 at 10:21 amfruit and fruit juices have lots of natural sugar, therefore lots of calories. add that to the cup of sugar in the recipe, and there you have it: hundreds of calories. although 778 does seem quite high… i guess it depends how big the serving is.
