Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 stick butter 2 cups milk 4 whole eggs -- beaten 4 slices bread -- torn up 1 3/4 cups sugar 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract Melt the butter in the microwave or on low heat. In a blender add the melted butter and all of the other ingredients, except for the bread. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds or so. Place bread in a greased baking dish with good sides and poor the milk and egg mixture over the bread. Sprinkle the top with sugar and a bit of cinnamon. Place the baking dish with the pudding in a larger baking dish. Poor enough water in the larger baking dish to equal about 1 inch. Place the two baking dishes in a preheated 400 degree oven and reduce the heat to 350 degrees.
