Select the basic or white cycle and press start. When the machine starts the final rise part of the cycle, remove the dough from the pan, leaving the pan in the machine. Place the dough on a lightly flouredsurface. Punch down. Using a pair of scissors or a sharp knife divide the dough into 12 equal pieces. Form piece into a ball and then with the palm of your hand flatten into circle. Place 1 Tablespoon of the apple filling into the center of each ball and bring the edges of the dough up and around to enclose the filling. Dip each ball into the oil, then into the poppy seeds. Remove the kneading blades from the machines pan and then place the balls back into the pan in two layers.
