Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- DOUGH 2 cups healthy active sourdough starter 1 1/2 cups bread flour 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup milk 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons sugar 1 3/4 cups bread flour 2 tablespoons butter -- melted FILLING 2 tablespoons sugar 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 cup raisins -- optional GLAZE 1 cup powdered sugar 4 teaspoons hot milk 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Knead the first two ingedients together and allow to sit in the pan for 8 hours. Then add the rest of the dough ingredients. Select the dough cycle and press start. When the dough is done remove from the pan and form into a ball. With a roller, flatten dough into a large rectangle about 1/2 in. thick. Brush with the melted butter and sprinkle with sugar cinnamon mixture and raisins, if using. Roll up rectangle from long side and cut into 1-in. thick rolls. Place rolls on a greased baking sheet close together and allow to rise for 1 to 2 hours or until doubled. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
